EDGE Tutor International is seeking a senior engineer to design, build, and optimize the tutor marketplace and delivery infrastructure. You will own the tutor supply engine, reliability layer, and marketplace mechanics, driving high activation, utilization, and quality at scale.

The role blends engineering, product, and ops with a focus on automated, AI-enabled workflows that reduce manual intervention and enable rapid growth globally from a remote-first setup.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a senior systems/platform role.
• React/TypeScript front-end experience with Vite.
• Backend APIs design and implementation using NestJS.

Responsibilities

• Build and replace manual, repetitive processes with scalable systems.
• Develop real-time or near real-time data pipelines for tutor marketplace insights.
• Architect scalable backend systems to handle growth in tutor volume and session demand.
• Integrate AI into workflows for quality control and automation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Recruitment, and Product to ship features.
