Job summary

Kraken is seeking a Senior Product Engineer within the Growth team to tackle high-impact problems spanning web and mobile, collaborating with design, data, and product to deliver data-driven engineering solutions.

You will build reusable services powering marketing campaigns, onboarding, KYC, and first-funding experiences, while focusing on performance, security, and reliability across distributed systems. This is a remote-first role with global reach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience across production systems.
• Experience building full-stack apps using TS, Rust, Go, Python, or Ruby with React/React Native.
• Understanding of distributed systems, performance optimization, and secure design.
• Infrastructure familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, databases, and caching.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers, designers, and analysts to identify growth opportunities and deliver data-driven engineering solutions.
• Implement reusable services and components powering marketing campaigns, onboarding, KYC, and first-funding experiences.
• Collaborate on distributed systems handling large global traffic with high performance.
• Contribute to architecture discussions balancing user impact, scalability, and maintainability.
• Measure and iterate using data and experimentation to improve key metrics.
• Uphold engineering standards, security, and reliability across the stack.
