Job summary

Bridgit is seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to help build our next-generation digital loan platform. You will own end-to-end delivery across frontend and backend, working with ReactJS or VueJS, NodeJS, and TypeScript in a NestJS framework.

You'll design scalable PostgreSQL schemas, implement RESTful APIs, and contribute to system architecture. You'll join a fast-paced fintech team that values collaboration, clear communication, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack developer.
• 2+ years of commercial experience with ReactJS or VueJS and NodeJS.
• Bonus: experience setting up frontend monorepos (Turborepo or Nx).
• Positive attitude, interpersonal skills, attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own solutions from design through deployment and testing.
• Communicate progress, priorities, and blockers across teams.
• Collaborate with teammates to achieve results and maintain code quality.
• Develop and optimise ReactJS / VueJS frontends and secure RESTful APIs with TypeScript in Node.js/NestJS.
• Design database schemas in PostgreSQL and leverage Sequelize.
• Influence system architecture and product direction.
• Define technical requirements for new features and ensure robust deployment processes.

The difference you'll make

We're looking for a talented and driven FullStack Engineer with strong NodeJS/NestJS, and ReactJS or VueJS experience and general fullstack capabilities to help build Bridgit's industry leading digital loan systems, supporting customers to buy their dream property and progress in life. In this role you will have the vision to support the development of industry leading technology, challenging the status quo and innovating everyday with a product team devoted to revolutionising the lending experience. The successful candidate for this role will join a fast-paced, high potential business.

What you'll do:

• Owning solutions start to finish, including design, documentation, coding, deployment and testing.
• Clearly communicating progress, priorities, and blockers across the engineering, product, and operations teams.
• Being a team player who is driven, respectful of others, passionate about what you do, and determined to achieve results.
• Write optimised ReactJS / VueJS with a shift into monorepo and clean, secure RESTful APIs with TypeScript Node.js within NestJS framework.
• Database design with PostgreSQL using Sequelize.
• Influence system architecture and the future direction of our products.
• Scoping and defining technical requirements for new products and features.
• Defining and following software development and deployment processes.

What you'll bring:

• 5 years + working as a Full Stack developer.
• 2 years + commercial experience with ReactJS or VueJS, and NodeJS.
• Bonus: Experience setting up frontend monorepos (Turborepo or Nx).
• Positive attitude to the day to day with good interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail in documentation and ticket descriptions.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS S3, RDS, ECS and Lambda.
• Outstanding communication skills.
