Job summary

Adventure Consultancy Solutions Philippines Inc. is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to lead the frontend architecture of a bank-wide financial projection platform.

You will build responsive, accessible UIs, integrate with REST APIs and microservices, and mentor junior developers. You’ll work with product managers, UX designers, backend engineers and AI/ML teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, reporting onsite in Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City, Philippines, for 5 to 15 days a month in a

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of professional front-end or full-stack development with focus on front-end.
• Experience with Next.js/React/Angular/Vue and HTML5/CSS3/TypeScript.
• Strong JavaScript, UI/UX, and Python integration experience.
• Experience delivering accessible, responsive UI (WCAG) and design systems.

Job description

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead the front-end design and development of a bank-wide financial projection platform, building responsive, accessible and user-friendly interfaces, including a web-based hub where departments maintain projection inputs.
• Integrate the front end with RESTful APIs, microservices and Python-based backend services, working with a team of data engineers.
• Build reusable component libraries and design systems to speed up delivery across teams.
• Ensure security, compliance and scalability, with solid error handling, logging and monitoring.
• Set best practices for code quality and performance, run code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
• Work with product managers, UX designers, backend engineers and AI/ML teams in an Agile/Scrum setup, and keep up with new front-end tools.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Must-have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7–10 years of professional front-end or full-stack development, with a focus on front-end architecture.
• Extensive hands-on experience with a modern JavaScript framework (Next.js, React, Angular or Vue), plus HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid experience in JavaScript for UI development and in Python programming.
• Experience integrating front ends with REST APIs, microservices and backend systems.
• Responsive design, cross-browser compatibility and accessibility (WCAG).
• Strong grasp of UI/UX principles, design systems and component-based architecture.
• Git, CI/CD pipelines and modern build tools.
• Experience leading or mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Excellent English communication and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Nationality from one of our client’s member countries; willing to report onsite 5 to 15 days a month when required.

Nice-to-have

• Experience in enterprise or SaaS environments.
• GraphQL and WebSockets.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) for data storage and processing.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and parallel computing frameworks.Certifications or training in front-end, UX/UI or modern JavaScript frameworks.
