Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines seeks an experienced Corporate Accountant to perform financial analysis, modeling, and planning. You will analyze both internal financial data and external economic factors to forecast business performance and support strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in accounting, auditing and financial analysis, with strong Excel skills (Power Query, Pivot Tables, VBA) and excellent communication abilities. A CPA qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from a reputable school.
• CPA certification.
• 3+ years combined experience in accounting, audit, and financial analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills: formulas, Power Query, Tables, Conditional Formatting, Pivot Tables, VBA/macros.

Responsibilities

• Analyze internal financial information (P&L, financial statements, costs, prices, expenses, revenues).
• Assess external economic conditions and their impact on business operations.
• Develop financial models to forecast effects of transactions and corporate development.
• Provide adhoc analyses as required by management.

Job description

Position Objectives:

Corporate Accounting work focuses on short and long-term financial planning and/or financial analysis of business operations for the purpose of measuring and forecasting future business performance. This includes:

• Analysis of internal financial information (e.g., profit loss accounts, financial statements, tooling & engineering, costs, prices, expenses, revenues, etc.)
• Analysis of external economic conditions and their impact on business operations (e.g., inflation, interest rates, exchange rates, etc.)
• Financial modeling to measure and forecast potential impacts of financial transactions and corporate development activities
• Adhoc analysis required by management

Key Competencies/De ion:

Education:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from a reputable school
• A Certified Public Accountant

Experience:

• At least 3 years combined experience in accounting, audit, and financial analysis.

Personal Competencies:

• Strong Verbal & Written Communication Skills.
