Job summary

Lear Corporation in the Philippines seeks a Corporate Accountant to support FP&A, budgeting and long-range planning, providing rigorous financial analysis of operations and forecasts.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Accountancy, CPA or equivalent, and about 5 years' combined experience in accounting, audit and FP&A, plus advanced MS Excel skills. This role includes treasury analysis and ad hoc analyses for management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from a reputable school.
• A Certified Public Accountant or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Analyze internal financial information (e.g., P&L, financial statements, costs, prices, expenses, revenues).
• Provide actual, forecast, budget and long-range plan analyses.
• Support business decision-making with FP&A analysis, performance management, and resource allocation.
• Assess external economic conditions and their impact on operations.
• Develop financial models to forecast impacts of transactions and corporate development activities.
• Perform treasury analysis and reporting.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses required by management.

Job description

Corporate Accounting work focuses on short and long-term financial planning, strategy and FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), and financial analysis of business operations for the purpose of measuring and forecasting future business performance. This includes:

• Analysis of internal financial information (e.g., profit and loss accounts, financial statements, tooling & engineering costs, prices, expenses, revenues, etc.)


• Financial analysis for actual, forecast, budget, and long-range plan reporting


• Strategy and FP&A analysis to support business decision-making, performance management, resource allocation, and achievement of organizational goals


• Analysis of external economic conditions and their impact on business operations (e.g., inflation, interest rates, exchange rates, etc.)


• Financial modeling to measure and forecast potential impacts of financial transactions and corporate development activities


• Treasury analysis and reporting


• Ad hoc analysis required by management

Education:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from a reputable school


• A Certified Public Accountant or Equivalent

Experience:
