Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
• Occupied senior manager position of no less than 5 years.
• Preferably w/ business acumen in real estate and construction industry.
• Experience in strategic planning and execution.
• Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
• Knowledge of national and local financial regulations.
• Competencies: Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
• Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
• Attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, leads and controls various activities of the Department.
• Planning: Establishing objectives, what needs to be achieved and when; determining a course of action to achieve organizational goals.
• Planning: Setting-up budget in relation to departmental & organizational objectives.
• Leading: Maintaining staff by selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing succession & personal growth opportunities.
• Leading: Leading & influencing subordinates to be enthusiastic about attaining objectives.
• Organizing: Direct & coordinate activities to ensure everyone is aware of expectations; organize resources.
• Controlling: Monitor budget and evaluate activities; establish standards and take corrective action.
• Capital provision: review financial projections and assist in annual budgets; review cash flow analysis and reports.
• Investor relations: ensure accurate dissemination of information to shareholders; communicate ratios.
• Banking relations: responsible for bank related transactions.
• Credit & Collection: coordinate with credit and collection head; determine doubtful accounts; coordinate with marketing on cancellations.
• Investments: analyze feasibility studies for investments and monitor results.
