Job summary

Vanigent Biopharm is seeking an experienced FP&A leader in Metro Manila, Philippines to oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. The role partners with executives to assess growth initiatives, evaluate financial impact, and allocate resources effectively.

The candidate will develop financial models, monitor KPIs, and drive performance reporting, ensuring accurate, timely insights for strategic decisions and governance.

• Lead end-to-end FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning.
• Partner with executive leadership to evaluate revenue growth initiatives, financial impact, and trade-offs.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Support capital budgeting and investment allocation decisions by assessing returns and funding needs.
• Lead KPI monitoring, variance analysis, and management reporting, translating financial trends into actionable recommendations.
• Monitor cash-flow planning to support liquidity and resource allocation.

Job description

Essential Responsibilities

1. Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead end-to-end FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning.
• Partner with executive leadership to evaluate revenue growth initiatives, commercial opportunities, financial impact, and execution trade-offs.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Support capital budgeting and investment allocation decisions by assessing expected returns, strategic priorities, and funding requirements.

2. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Lead KPI monitoring, variance analysis, and management reporting, translating financial and operational performance trends into actionable recommendations.
• Monitor financial performance and cash-flow planning to support business objectives, liquidity requirements, and resource allocation.
• Develop and maintain pricing, margin, and profitability reporting to support commercial decision-making and overall business performance.

3. Strategic Investments & Partnerships

• Identify and evaluate investment and partnership opportunities, assessing potential financial, commercial, and operational synergies.
• Evaluate strategic opportunities and funding requirements and provide financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Support investment and partnership decisions through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and assessment of expected returns and strategic value.

4. Financial Operations, Compliance & Governance

• Oversee financial operations, accounting coordination, tax planning, financial compliance, and financial management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial and tax requirements and coordinate with internal and external advisors as needed.
• Oversee financial processes and controls to support accurate reporting, operational efficiency, and financial integrity.
• Support the monthly financial close process, including review of financial statements, analysis of results, and coordination with accounting resources to ensure accurate, timely, and decision-ready reporting.

5. Operational Efficiency & Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner cross-functionally with executive and operational leaders to align financial planning and resource allocation with business objectives.
• Collaborate with the development team on internal products and solutions that improve operational efficiency and automation, including solutions subsequently offered to third-party clients.
• Participate in cross-functional strategic initiatives and special projects to advance company-wide objectives.
• Prepare and support financial content for board materials, leadership updates, and other executive presentations, ensuring financial information is accurate, clear, and aligned with strategic priorities.
• Respond to ad hoc financial, operational, and strategic analysis requests from executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, providing timely insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
