Job summary

The NCS Group is seeking a Sr. Finance Data Analyst to deliver accurate financial reporting and insights.

You will develop dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions to support month-end closing, forecasting, budgeting, and KPI tracking, collaborating with Finance, Data & Analytics, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in data analytics or finance analytics, strong SQL, and experience with Tableau or similar BI tools, plus a solid grasp of finance processes and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, math, CS.
• Minimum 2 years in data analytics, BI, reporting analytics, or finance analytics.
• Strong SQL skills with experience querying large datasets.
• Experience building dashboards and reports using Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, month-end processes, and finance controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance finance dashboards, reports, and analytical models.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and insights.
• Partner with Finance and stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver solutions.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues, discrepancies, and reporting anomalies.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and provide actionable recommendations to support decision-making.
• Improve reporting efficiency through automation, process enhancements, and data governance.
• Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams to ensure consistent and scalable reporting logic.
• Document reporting methodologies, metric definitions, data mappings, and business processes.
• Support finance-related reporting, system, and data inquiries.
