Job summary

ams OSRAM is seeking a Senior Engineer in Failure Analysis & Reliability in Calamba, Philippines. You will support reliability qualifications, monitoring, risk assessments, and special investigations for suspect materials, while maintaining lab equipment and driving quality improvements.

The role requires 2–5 years in semiconductor FA and Reliability, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to resolve field issues.

Qualifications

• Background in Electronics, Physics, Chemistry, or Materials Science.
• 2–5 years’ experience in semiconductor manufacturing in Quality, Failure Analysis and Reliability.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Technical knowledge in reliability and failure analysis processes and methods.
• Knowledge of 8D problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Support reliability qualifications, monitoring, risk assessment and special investigations for suspect materials within the accepted timeline.
• Support requests under production fails, FA requests, qualification failure analysis requests and customer return failure analysis.
• Maintenance of lab equipment.
• Provide quality engineering support and work with internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues at customer side and improve product quality.
• Support and possibly lead taskforces for quality issues internally and externally through effective problem-solving skills.
• Develop processes in FA and/or Reliability Lab to improve efficiency of the team.
