Job summary

Our Clients, Makati City, is seeking a Senior External Auditor to lead external audit engagements and ensure procedures meet accounting standards. The role is onsite/hybrid with a dayshift schedule.

You will supervise audit teams, perform substantive testing, and review working papers while applying PFRS/IFRS. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are essential; CPA is an advantage but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or finance.
• 1.5+ years external audit experience.
• Experience leading or supervising junior staff.
• Knowledge of PFRS/IFRS.
• Audit planning, fieldwork, and financial statement analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• CPA is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise audit teams from planning to completion.
• Perform audit procedures including substantive testing and analytical procedures.
• Review working papers and financial statements.
• Analyze financial records for risks and audit findings.
• Communicate audit observations with clients.
• Ensure engagements are completed within deadlines.
• Apply PFRS/IFRS standards.
