Job summary

Our Clients in Makati is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join our Accounting Advisory Firm, supporting Australian clients across industries. You will lead audit engagements, work with Australian standards, and mentor junior team members on-site in Makati.

The role focuses on planning to completion of audits, reviewing workpapers, and coordinating with international clients to ensure timely deliverables. Strong English communication and independence are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• CPA or Non-CPA candidates welcome.
• At least 3 years of external audit experience.
• Experience with Australian audit engagements is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ASA, AASB, IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience using audit software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Able to work independently while managing multiple audit engagements.
• Willing to work on-site in Makati City.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead audit engagements for Australian clients from planning to completion.
• Prepare and review audit workpapers, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Conduct risk assessments, substantive testing, analytical review procedures, and internal control evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with ASA, AASB, IFRS and applicable financial reporting requirements.
• Identify audit issues and recommend practical solutions to clients.
• Coordinate directly with Australian clients and engagement teams to ensure timely completion of audit deliverables.
• Supervise, coach, and review the work of junior audit associates.
• Assist managers and partners in preparing audit reports and communicating engagement findings.
• Ensure audit documentation complies with firm policies and professional standards.
