Job summary

ERNI, a Swiss software development leader with a global footprint, seeks an experienced Enterprise GIS Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise GIS solutions hosted on AWS. You will work with Web-GIS, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise integrations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, security, and performance of mission-critical GIS platforms.

This is an international, remote role for candidates outside the Philippines with a 1-year engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/GIS/Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years' experience in Enterprise GIS, cloud infra, and Web-GIS development.
• Hands-on with GeoServer/GeoNode and PostGIS in enterprise settings.
• Strong REST APIs, microservices, Python and C# expertise.
• Experience in Agile/DevOps using Scrum, Kanban, and Azure DevOps.
• Excellent English communication and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support, administer, and maintain Enterprise GIS on AWS.
• Monitor performance, security, and capacity; apply patches and updates.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and Web-GIS apps.
• Integrate GIS with enterprise databases and business apps.
• Ensure adherence to architecture, security, and deployment standards.
• Collaborate with GIS specialists, stakeholders, and external consultants.
