Job summary

ERNI Development Center Philippines Inc. in Mandaluyong is seeking an experienced Enterprise GIS Engineer to design, implement, and maintain large-scale GIS solutions. • 10+ years in Enterprise GIS implementation, cloud infra, and Web-GIS apps.
• Hands-on with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, GeoServer, GeoNode.

Responsibilities

• Support, administer, and maintain Enterprise GIS environments hosted on AWS.
• Monitor system performance, availability, security, and capacity with regular maintenance and patching.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs, microservices, automation workflows, reports, and Web-GIS applications.
• Enhance usability, performance, reliability, and maintainability of GIS platforms.
• Integrate GIS solutions with enterprise databases, business apps, and map-enabled systems.
• Support migration of GIS apps, dashboards, services, and GIS data to/from internal and external vendors.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support to users.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Scrum, Kanban, sprint planning.
• Collaborate with GIS specialists, project teams, stakeholders, and external consultants.
• Serve as backup for GIS Server Manager and GIS Administrator.

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise GIS Engineer to join our team and support the design, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of enterprise-scale Geographic Information System (GIS) solutions.

In this role, you will work with cloud-based GIS infrastructure, Web-GIS applications, enterprise integrations, and production support while collaborating with cross-functional technical teams, business stakeholders, and external consultants. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of mission-critical GIS platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, GIS, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 10+ years of experience in Enterprise GIS implementation, cloud infrastructure, and Web-GIS application development.

• Strong hands-on experience with Enterprise GIS platforms such as:

  • Esri ArcGIS Enterprise
  • GeoServer
  • GeoNode

• Experience with cloud and infrastructure technologies including:

  • AWS or Microsoft Azure
  • Kubernetes
  • Terraform
  • Windows Server
  • Linux

• Strong software development experience using:

  • REST APIs

• Experience in production support, deployment, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and patch management.
