This role is best suited for candidates with 5-7.5 years of relevant experience in test-hardware architecture, circuit and board design, instrumentation, interfaces, fixtures, integration, validation, qualification, debugging, and lifecycle support.

In this role, you will own complex assignments and coordinate technical reviews, partner with relevant design, product, test, manufacturing, quality, reliability, software, supplier, and operational stakeholders, and help deliver robust evidence, timely issue resolution, product quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply electronics engineering fundamentals - including analog and digital circuit principles and hardware design practices to develop, validate, and release reliable test hardware for wafer probe and final test operations.
  • Plan and manage hardware development projects by defining activities, coordinating cross-functional resources, managing priorities and schedules, tracking risks and deliverables, and communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Lead test hardware development activities, from schematic design and PCB layout review through documentation and release to engineering stakeholders, in accordance with TSG processes, standards, and quality requirements.
  • Develop semiconductor ATE test hardware, including tester resources, device interface hardware, and wafer probe and final test setups, to support product qualification and production requirements.
  • Prepare clear technical documentation and effectively communicate design requirements, project status, risks, and solutions - both verbally and in writing to global customers, suppliers, CAD engineers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Use Altium Designer to capture schematics, apply PCB design rules, prepare complete design packages for CAD submission, and participate in schematic, layout, and design reviews throughout the development cycle.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Engineering, or a related field with 5-7.5 years of relevant experience in test-hardware architecture, circuit and board design, instrumentation, interfaces, fixtures, integration, validation, qualification, debugging, and lifecycle support.
  • Qualified candidates should demonstrate test-hardware design, circuit and system analysis, instrumentation, structured debugging, validation discipline, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate: Employment stability, reliability, and sustained accountability in prior roles; effective teamwork and cross-functional collaboration; integrity and accuracy in representing qualifications, experience, and credentials.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline, with a solid foundation in electronic circuits, digital and analog systems, and hardware design principles.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan project activities, manage schedules and priorities, coordinate cross-functional resources, track risks and deliverables, and communicate progress clearly to stakeholders.
  • Preferably with at least six years of relevant experience in test hardware development, including schematic design, PCB layout, design review, and release to engineering stakeholders.
  • Strong familiarity with semiconductor Automated Test Equipment (ATE) setups, tester architecture and resources, device interface hardware, wafer probe and final test environments, and the integration of test hardware with production systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear technical documentation, present design information, resolve issues collaboratively, and work effectively with global customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of PCB design using Altium Designer is preferred, including schematic capture, component library creation, design-rule application, layout review, documentation, and coordination with CAD engineers throughout the design process.
