Job summary

Home Comfort Group seeks a seasoned Controls Hardware Engineer with deep expertise in circuit design and component selection. You will manage circuit modules and documentation, and coordinate a global component database while collaborating with cross‑functional teams across sites.

You will drive procurement collaboration for PCBA and components, build a technology roadmap, and lead VAVE and quality pipelines. Travel to support projects across regions is requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Electronics or Electronics and Communication, or equivalent.
• 7-10 years experience in hardware circuit design and component selection.
• Extensive hands-on experience in developing Embedded controls for consumer/HVAC products.
• Willing and able to travel within and outside India for project needs.
• Good communication and presentation skills; strong value engineering capability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with procurement for Controls, PCBA, electronic components and global strategy.
• Improve ability to reduce and manage complexity in designs.
• Speed up the product development cycle and leverage global resources.
• Create Supplier Roadmap & preferred supplier list across sites.
• Create Technology roadmap and module/component library with preference.
• Create VAVE & Quality improvement pipeline with templates and tracking.
• Gather competitive knowledge and carry out key initiatives and projects.
• Define KPIs for MVT and measure progress; share results.
• Build extended teams at each site to carry out MVT activities; budget and forecast.

You will be responsible for managing circuit modules, creating documentation, managing component database, coordinating VAVE efforts for controls and collaborating with cross function team across sites.

How you will do it:

• To collaborate with procurement for Controls, PCBA, Electronic components, etc considering global strategy.
• Improve our ability to reduce and manage complexity
• Improve Speed in the product development cycle
• Leverage our global resources and supply base
• Jointly support to create Supplier Roadmap & preferred supplier list
• Jointly create Technology roadmap, module/component library (with preference)
• Create VAVE & Quality improvement pipeline - template, track, measure & share progress through the pipeline list
• Gather Competitive knowledge
• Carry out Key initiatives / Projects, action contents, action priorities
• Create extended team at each site to carry out MVT activities
• Define KPIs for MVT & measure & share progress
• Make competition benchmarking plan and related budget definition and tracking

Qualifications
