Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the terminal’s operational, safety, financial and administrative functions. You will ensure timely receipt, storage and loading of fuels and lubricants while adhering to regulations and company standards.

The role requires strong leadership, procurement and supply chain expertise, with a focus on cost optimisation and continuous improvement across manufacturing, transport and logistics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in operations leadership within manufacturing, transport or logistics.
• Strong procurement, inventory management and supply chain expertise.
• Excellent understanding of efficiency, cost management and process optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities across manufacturing, transport and logistics functions.
• Manage inventory levels, procurement processes and stock control to optimise supply chain performance and reduce costs.
• Supervise and coordinate with operations teams to meet production schedules and delivery timelines.
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations across all operational areas.
• Liaise with purchasing and procurement departments to manage vendor relationships and ensure material availability.
• Implement and maintain SOPs and best practices.
• Prepare operational reports and present findings to senior management.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency improvements.
• Train and develop operations staff to maintain high performance standards.
