Job summary

Vena Group is seeking an EBOP and Electrical Engineering Manager in Makati, Philippines. This role will oversee engineering and design aspects of grid interconnection projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The candidate must have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 8–12 years of experience in grid interconnection and transmission design. Responsibilities include leading technical reviews, managing regulatory submissions, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in grid interconnection, substation/transmission line design and construction.
• Proven experience in EPC design review for substation and transmission line projects.
• Familiarity with power project development processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering development of high‑voltage transmission lines and substations.
• Manage conceptual to detailed engineering activities.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to secure approvals.

Skills

Strong technical grounding in substation and transmission line design

Excellent coordination and documentation skills

Stakeholder management

Knowledge of PGC/PDC

Ability to interface directly with utility representatives

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
