As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer specializing in Transformer Design at the Global Engineering Center in Vadodara, India, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, diversity, and collaboration. The success candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team specialized in Power Transformer design covering different countries.
Influence specification at the tender and pre-tender stage, through conceptual discussions.
Responsible to prepare electrical design Quotation meeting factory limitation, guideline, and checklist as per IEEE / IEC /IS standards as per project schedule.
Responsible for Preparation of Customer documents, Manufacturing documents, Bill of materials etc. as per project schedule.
Coordinating design activities within a worldwide factories network.
Participation in internal design concept reviews.
Demonstrated team building skills and networking skills, would be a preference.
Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.

B.E / B. Tech Electrical Engineering.
9 to 12 years’ experience working in Electrical design for Power Transformers manufacturing Industry.
Candidates with higher experience also to be considered.
Order Engineering experience is required.
Deep understanding manufacturing of transformer is required.
Understanding of Transformer Electrical Design, Thermal, Dielectrics, Short circuit and sound performance and transformer mechanics.
Should have good understanding of IS/ IEC /IEEE Standards/ Canadian Standards.
Experience in Simulation or software development would be advantageous.
Experience on Microsoft office and tools.
Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.
Demonstrated team building skills, would be a preference.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
