Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for semiconductor facility projects. You will influence design requirements, coordinate with clients and contractors, and ensure quality across power distribution, grounding, lighting, and medium-high voltage systems.

You’ll review drawings, prepare specs, and participate in proposals while guiding teams in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work policy and global opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license.
• 15+ years of experience in engineering design of building electrical systems.
• Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC).
• Semiconductor electrical design experience.
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design work and provide technical leadership for electrical systems.
• Interact with client, owner, and contractors to support construction on site.
• Prepare technical specifications and documents for bidding and construction.
• Act as Electrical discipline lead or QC reviewer in project meetings.
• Contribute to proposals and suggest solutions to clients.
