Job summary

WSP Manila Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to advance protection, control and SCADA designs for the Power & Energy team in Manila. You will work independently or with the team, mentoring juniors while delivering high-quality drawings on time.

Responsibilities include reviewing design requirements, applying standards, leading complex projects and coordinating with engineers to develop detailed wiring schematics and panels.

Qualifications

• Typically 8-11 years experience in electrical design.
• Strong background in protection, control and SCADA.
• Proven ability to lead design teams and deliver on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client requirements and ensure design specifications are met.
• Develop non-standard, complex designs and mentor junior staff.
• Implement quality control and maintain up-to-date documentation.
• Lead high-level designs with engineers and prepare detailed schematics.
• Deliver projects on time with high quality and safety standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD, MicroStation and Revit for drafting deliverables.
• Collaborate across WSP business units to meet governance and risk requirements.
