Job summary

WSP Philippines is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design activities for building projects. The role involves technical design, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years of engineering design experience, expertise in PLC/SCADA and building services, and familiarity with regulations. Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD and related electrical software is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
At least 6–8 years of relevant engineering design experience is expected.
Experience with PLC, controls, SCADA and automation is required.
Prior consulting experience in water/wastewater facilities and related systems is advantageous.
Ability to perform design from concept through developed and detailed design.
Ability to read/draft plans and interpret construction schematics.
Experience coordinating with Architects and Engineers and other disciplines.
Knowledge of safety, risk management, and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise across electrical, controls and PLC systems.
Lead design, review, integration and automation solution efforts.
Design electrical services and building services systems and related work.
Manage electrical design, coordination and integration from design to tender documentation.
Maintain drawings and QA records per company procedures.
Prepare technical reports for small to medium projects and review reports.
Lead small to medium projects and monitor scope across multiple projects.
Apply relevant codes, standards and project specifications.
