Job summary

Fluor Corporation in the Philippines seeks a seasoned engineer to apply cost competitive execution techniques to develop the most cost‑effective total project solution for discipline engineering work. You will develop and review specifications, including design criteria, and participate in equipment/material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting.

You will perform calculations, specify equipment, and review vendor documentation for compliance.

Qualifications

Accredited four year degree in engineering with eight years of work experience.
Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and visitors.
Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
Attention to detail and time-conscious performance.

Responsibilities

Apply cost competitive execution techniques to develop the most cost-effective total project solution for discipline engineering work.
Develop and review specifications, including design criteria.
Participate in activities associated with equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting.
Perform and check calculations, specify equipment, and solve moderately complex engineering problems.
Review vendor equipment documentation for compliance with project requirements and resolve discrepancies.
Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity.
Other duties as assigned.
