Job summary

Vertiv, a global leader in critical digital infrastructure, seeks an Instructional Designer to develop engaging in-person and digital learning materials for Environmental Health and Safety training for Vertiv Services and Manufacturing. This role creates content that promotes workplace safety for regional and global audiences.

You will develop eLearning modules with Articulate 360, prepare instructor-led materials, and collaborate with EHS SMEs to ensure compliance and effective learning across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience developing technical in-person and eLearning materials, preferably for EHS.
• Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety standards and regulations.
• Experience using eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360 Storyline/Rise).
• Video creation/editing tools such as Camtasia, Vyond, Premiere are a plus.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of ADDIE and adult learning theory. Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging eLearning modules using Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise).
• Create instructor-led training materials including PowerPoint presentations with voice over, facilitation guides, participant guides, and assessments.
• Develop job aids, reference guides, and flyers.
• Produce or edit video content.
• Update training content to align with company and safety policies.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve materials.
• Collaborate with EHS subject matter experts and Training Program Manager.
• Maintain consistent formatting, branding, and versioning in training materials.
