Qualifications

• PhD in economics or related field with empirical analysis background.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience with independent research.
• Experience with impact evaluation and development projects; transport/energy sector knowledge is a plus.
• Publications in international peer‑reviewed journals.
• Strong economic theory, analytical and conceptual skills.
• Knowledge of ADB or multilateral development banks' context.
• Written and verbal proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead or co‑lead research on development economics topics.
• Publish and disseminate research findings and policy briefs.
• Support decision‑making with analytical outputs for governments.
• Design and deliver training programs for staff and government officials.
• Manage technical assistance projects for DMCs.
• Lead knowledge sharing with global institutions.
• Provide leadership to reporting staff and monitor performance.
