Job summary

Maya Philippines is seeking a DevSecOps Senior Specialist to embed the highest security standards across the product's lifecycle while keeping pace with fast-moving development. You will collaborate with engineering and security teams, act as SME on application security, and promote Secured SDLC practices throughout Maya.

This role also supports the CISO office and stays current with trends in cloud-native security.

Qualifications

• At least 4+ years of professional experience in Secure SDLC, DevSecOps, or Information Security.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Agile SDLC processes.
• Practical experience (2+ years) with Cloud Native Applications.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and management teams.

Responsibilities

• Clarify timelines, scope, and risks for team members.
• Serve as SME on application security, offering guidance.

Overview

The DevSecOps Senior Specialist involves providing technical expertise across various security domains and layers. The role ensures the implementation of the highest security standards throughout the product's system while aligning with the pace of today’s business.

What you will do

• Collaborate with other Business Units and pillar partners to foster effective communication and alignment.
• Communicate expectations clearly to all team members including, but not limited to timeline, scope, and risks.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on Application Security, providing expert guidance and insights.
• Act as a DevSecOps Champion, promoting and evangelizing Secured SDLC practices within Maya.
• Provide technical security expertise to the Product Engineering group and ensure that security, compliance, and privacy are considered at the earliest stages of product development to prevent expensive product delivery mistakes.
• Provide support to the Office of the CISO for any technical security requirements.
• Maintain familiarity with the latest and upcoming trend around DevSecOps.
