Job summary

Wonder is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (DevOps) for our Robotics Software team in Boston. You will design, build, and maintain cloud and edge infrastructure to ship our robotics platform, working with on-site edge servers and AWS ECS Anywhere.

In this role, you will optimize CI/CD pipelines, automate provisioning with Terraform and Ansible, and empower developers with robust tooling while collaborating across software, hardware, and operations to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of professional DevOps or Systems Engineering experience.
• Fluent Linux systems experience and cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong scripting (Bash, Python) and Docker knowledge.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, build, and maintain cloud and edge infrastructure to deliver new features and meet requirements.
• Maintain and optimize on-site Ubuntu edge servers using Terraform and Ansible.
• Improve server provisioning pipelines and imaging for Linux deployments.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines for efficient testing and deployment.
• Provide debugging support for network and application issues and build developer tooling.
