Job summary

CoDev Philippines is recruiting a Sr. DevOps Engineer for a fully remote role with PH night shift (9 PM–6 AM). You will own CI/CD automation, security automation, and observable cloud infrastructure, collaborating with Engineering, QA, DevOps, Operations, and Product teams on a scalable e-commerce platform.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in DevOps/security with deep AWS expertise, Kubernetes, Terraform, and IaC, plus strong logging/monitoring capabilities and a focus on secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Info Security or related field.
• 3+ years of DevOps, infrastructure, and security experience.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services (VPCs, IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, etc.) and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Hands-on with at least one other cloud platform (Azure or GCP).
• Proficiency with CI/CD automation tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, CodePipeline).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, observable infrastructure used across client deployments.
• Secure networks, apps, and data across environments.
• Provide production monitoring and incident support for client systems.
• Build and maintain Elastic-based logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Automate testing, monitoring, and reporting in CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security into CI/CD and DevOps workflows.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure OWASP Top 10 compliance.
• Collaborate with clients on infrastructure and scaling needs.
