Job summary

HypTechie in the Philippines invites an experienced Sr DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and support scalable cloud infrastructure and applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Python/PowerShell, and DevOps automation, enabling high availability and global distribution.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in DevOps / Software Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of Python and PowerShell.
Experience with JSON, YAML, and Helm.
Hands-on experience with Git, Azure DevOps (ADO), Jenkins, Nexus, and RunDeck.
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Salt, Chef, or Puppet.
Experience with Akamai or Cloudflare CDN.
Strong understanding of Azure services such as: Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps.
Experience supporting highly scalable, highly available, and globally distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Design, build, deploy, and support scalable cloud applications and infrastructure.
Identify and automate manual processes to improve operational efficiency.
Implement and maintain Azure cloud solutions.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps standards.
Improve infrastructure security and implement best practices.
Establish and document infrastructure design standards and reusable patterns.
Support Disaster Recovery (DR) environments and related activities.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams.
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability and reliability.
