Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Information Systems – Platform-as-a-Service team. You will automate cloud workflows, maintain the cloud blueprint, and support provisioning, security, and configuration management across Azure IaaS/PaaS environments for data and analytics platforms.

The role requires 5+ years of DevOps experience, strong Terraform/Python/PowerShell skills, and CI/CD expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5+ years leading large cloud/DevOps implementations.
• Hands-on Azure Cloud IaaS/PaaS and IT Service Management (Incidents, Changes, Requests).
• Expertise with Terraform, Python, PowerShell for infra automation.
• Proven CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.
• Knowledge of networking, security, and IaaS/PaaS patterns for data solutions.
• Willing to work in UP Ayala Technohub Quezon City or Mactan Newtown Cebu; hybrid 3x onsite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate cloud workflow and blueprint provisioning.
• Automate platform maintenance, security enhancements, and admin tasks.
• Deliver cloud solutions by implementing and hardening resources.
• Support provisioning and configuration management coding and deployment.
• Collaborate with architecture to support data and analytics landscapes.
• Improve monitoring/logging for cloud and dashboards reporting.
• Standardize runbooks and automate BAU tasks.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation.
• Build platform automation scripts for 7x24 support.
• Plan tests, runbooks, and packaging for cloud service offerings.
