The role emphasizes AWS/Azure, IaC, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud security, with Azure-to-AWS migration experience highly preferred.

You will collaborate with cloud platform and infrastructure teams to build secure, scalable, highly available environments, while supporting DevSecOps and continuous improvement across the estate.

Experience: 5+ years in DevOps / Cloud / Platform Engineering

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our shared services team and support cloud infrastructure, automation, deployment, and platform engineering initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud security. Experience in Azure-to-AWS cloud migration is highly preferred.

You will work closely with cloud platform and infrastructure teams to build secure, scalable, highly available and well-governed cloud environments while supporting DevSecOps and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Work closely with cloud platform teams to ensure infrastructure follows security, governance and cloud best practices.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, including AKS/EKS environments.
• Manage Kubernetes deployments using Helm and GitOps practices.
• Build, maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related DevOps tools.
• Support Azure-to-AWS cloud migration initiatives, including infrastructure assessment, planning, migration and optimization.
• Implement automation to improve infrastructure provisioning, deployment and operational efficiency.
• Establish and enhance cloud monitoring, logging and observability solutions.
• Implement cloud security best practices covering IAM, identity, secrets management, networking and access controls.
• Support DevSecOps adoption through security controls, automation and secure deployment practices.
• Work with infrastructure architects to improve performance, reliability and cloud cost optimization.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, Kubernetes, deployment and production issues.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering, Cloud Engineering or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure.
• Proven experience with cloud infrastructure design, implementation and administration.
• Strong experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker and Helm.
• Experience with AWS EKS and/or Azure AKS.
• Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Experience with cloud migration, particularly Azure-to-AWS migration.
• Good understanding of IAM, Active Directory, secrets management, networking and cloud security.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and observability platforms.
• Good understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with Git and version control.

Good to Have

• Experience with JFrog / Artifactory.
• Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Dynatrace or similar observability tools.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization / FinOps.
• AWS or Azure cloud certifications.
• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments.
