Job summary

Yempo Inc. is seeking a Senior Developer for a dayshift role, with the option to work from home or in the office in the Philippines.

You will lead front-end development of Angular 17+ SPAs, integrate with .NET Core Web API backends, and leverage Azure services to deliver scalable, secure solutions for an Australia-based client. The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, CI/CD practices, and maintaining intranet and internal apps while supporting security and ISMS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong frontend with Angular 17+ and TypeScript.
• Strong backend with .NET Core, Web API, and EF.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and CI/CD.
• Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimization of Angular 17+ Single Page Applications (SPAs) with a focus on performance, usability, and responsiveness.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using .NET Core, Web API, and Azure services.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and technical teams to deliver tools that improve operational efficiency and user engagement.
• Digitize manual processes and workflows using Azure Web Apps, Entity Framework, and SharePoint.
• Maintain and support the company’s intranet and internal applications.
• Provide technical support and assist in broader IT initiatives as required by the CTO.
• Comply with the Organization's Information Security Management System (ISMS), including all applicable information security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.

Your Responsibilities

Your Background

• Proficiency in Angular 17+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox), RxJS, and Angular CLI.

• Strong backend development experience with .NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework.

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Functions, Static Web Apps, Cosmos DB, and API Management.

• Skilled in setting up CI/CD pipelines and managing release strategies using Azure DevOps.

• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to Have

• Proven ability to work effectively in distributed or remote Agile/Scrum teams.

• Strong knowledge of web application security best practices and cloud‑based access control.

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure AD, and SharePoint API

• Skilled in data handling and reporting, with strong T‑SQL capabilities and Power BI experience.
