Job summary

Blacksmith Agency, a US-focused web design and marketing partner, seeks a Web Design Systems Designer in a senior, systems-first role. You own token architecture in Figma and ship cross-client core components that scale across sites.

Bring 4+ years of web design with real design-system work, fluency in Figma, and strong English to coordinate with US hours while working remotely from Latin America. You will document the system for developers and automation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years designing for the web with real design-system work in your portfolio.
• Fluency in Figma variables, component properties, auto layout, and variants.
• Portfolio shows client-to-client variety with consistent design-system rigor.
• Strong English and overlap with US business hours.

Responsibilities

• Build token architecture in Figma using variables, modes, and semantic naming our pipeline can read predictably.
• Ship core component libraries that hold up across an entire site, not just a homepage.
• Document the system so a developer or an automated pipeline can execute it without questions.
• Work across several client brands at once, each looking distinctly different, with the same structural rigor.
