We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL Server Database Administrator to join our dynamic team. This full-time, remote position is a critical part of our follow-the-sun support model, ensuring the highest levels of availability, reliability, and performance for our SQL Server infrastructure. You'll work with cutting‑edge technologies, collaborate with a multicultural team, and play a pivotal role in maintaining and evolving our database systems.
Primarily focused on on‑premises infrastructure, with a preference for candidates who also have experience with AWS.
SQL Server 2017+, Always On, Transactional Replication, Query Store, Log Shipping. PowerShell, DBAtools, basic Windows administration, and an understanding of storage infrastructure.
7+ years in highly available SQL Server environments, working across virtual and physical infrastructures. Proven ability to automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Microsoft certifications are a plus.
Self-learner with a high level of initiative. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts. Exceptional adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially for working in a multicultural team.
Experience in manufacturing industries is a bonus. Development background to facilitate smooth communication with developers.
