Job summary

JWay Group, Inc. seeks an experienced data warehousing professional to design and optimize databases and data models across Oracle and SQL Server environments. You will lead requirements, develop major projects, and enable rich reporting via SSAS and Power BI.

You will collaborate with analytics teams, enforce ETL best practices, and provide ad-hoc data analysis support, documentation, and training to business users.

Qualifications

• Holds a college degree in any discipline.
• 5–10+ years in data warehousing, data lakes, BI.
• 3+ years ETL/ELT with Azure Data Factory, Python, Alteryx, SSIS or Informatica.
• Experience building data models.
• Hands-on with Azure services or Power BI/Power Platform.
• SQL expertise including T-SQL, Views, Stored Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Improve existing data designs and design new databases and data models; relational table structures; Unix Shell scripting; Oracle and SQL Server.
• Manage requirements gathering, development and rollout of major projects on the solution platform.
• Create reports and enable slicing/dicing of data in SSAS.
• Collaborate with reporting team to ensure ETL best practices and audit standards.
• Provide ad-hoc support for advanced strategic data analysis initiatives.
• Act as go-to expert on transformation logic for data warehouse.
• Support business users with data questions; provide documentation and training.
