Job summary

AIA Shared Services is seeking a technical lead in data engineering to guide ETL pipelines, data warehouses, data lakes, and governance. You will architect scalable data solutions and partner with analytics teams to democratize data across the business.

Requirements include 10 years building data warehouses or lakes and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, plus strong communication and leadership skills to drive cloud transformation and data quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• At least 10 years designing and building data warehouses or data lakes.
• Innovative, proactive, creative, well-organized, and able to adapt to various technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to translate loosely defined requirements into concrete data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and expands data engineering stacks: ETLs, Data Stores, Data Warehouse, Data Lakes, Data Hubs, and governance.
• Analyzes data sources and builds APIs or data consumption solutions for business units.
• Maintains development roadmap aligned with product and infrastructure objectives.
• Implements data pipelines and data quality/validation processes.
• Mentors team and supports reporting needs and data governance initiatives.
