Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in Alabang, Philippines, seeks a Senior/Staff Data Scientist to design and deploy production-grade data and AI solutions across data engineering, ML, and Generative AI. The role demands deep hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Python, plus expertise in AI agents, RAG, and LLM evaluation.

You will mentor other data/AI professionals, collaborate with engineering and business teams, and drive governance, quality, and MLOps across enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Science, ML, or related fields.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Python.
• Proven experience in large-scale ETL/ELT and production data systems.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI/LLMs and AI Agents.
• Strong experience with RAG, tool/function calling, embeddings, and LLM evaluation.
• Experience deploying and monitoring ML/AI solutions in production.
• Experience with MLOps/LLMOps and at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong software engineering practices, including Git, testing, and code review.

About the Role
