Job summary

EPS CONSULTANT is seeking a Senior/Staff Data Scientist with strong expertise in Data Engineering, Machine Learning, and Generative AI to build and deploy production-ready data and AI solutions. The role involves designing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines with Databricks, developing ML/AI models for production, and leading AI initiatives across enterprise use cases.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Science, ML, or related fields.
• Hands-on with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Python.
• Proven experience with large-scale ETL/ELT and production data systems.
• Hands-on with Generative AI, LLMs, and AI Agents.
• Experience with RAG, tool calling, embeddings, and LLM evaluation.
• Experience deploying and monitoring ML/AI in production environments.
• Proficient in MLOps/LLMOps and at least one cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong software engineering practices: Git, testing, and code review.
• Ability to operate at Senior/Staff level with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and PySpark.
• Develop and deploy ML and AI solutions in production.
• Build AI agents, RAG, and LLM-based applications for enterprise use cases.
• Implement data quality, monitoring, governance, and MLOps/LLMOps practices.
• Partner with engineering and business teams to deliver data and AI solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data/AI professionals.
