Qualifications

• 7+ years experience with SAS Base/EG, SQL, Excel, Tableau/Power BI.
• Experience in financial services, preferably in insurance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong data modeling, data warehousing, and governance knowledge.
• Ability to translate business needs into reporting solutions and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Data Extraction and Transformation: Gather data from diverse sources, such as databases, APIs, and flat files.
• Data Warehousing: Design and maintain data warehouses or data lakes to store and organize data efficiently.
• Database Management: Administer and optimize databases for performance and scalability.
• Reporting and Visualization: Create dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or custom solutions.
• Data Quality and Governance: Implement data quality checks and governance policies to ensure integrity.
• Automation and Scalability: Develop automated data processing and reporting tasks; scale pipelines.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues and optimize queries.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain docs for data pipelines and share best practices.
