Job summary

ING Hubs Philippines is seeking a Data Protection Professional to provide expert oversight of complex privacy and data protection activities across ING's operations. You will translate regulatory requirements into practical business solutions, lead assessments, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to embed privacy into processes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on data protection and privacy compliance experience.
• Deep knowledge of privacy principles and data protection regulatory frameworks.
• Experience conducting DPIAs, LIAs, RoPA, TIAs, and vendor risk assessments.
• Experience assessing data breaches and supporting DSR processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to mentor colleagues and provide technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and quality assurance for complex privacy and data protection assessments across multiple business areas.
• Identify privacy risks and recommend proportionate mitigation measures.
• Advise stakeholders on high-risk, complex, or ambiguous processing activities.
• Develop and enhance privacy frameworks, templates, and guidance materials.
• Review assessment outcomes and support capability development within the team.Drive initiatives that strengthen ING's overall privacy and data protection maturity.
