Job summary

Gratitude Philippines is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to design, develop, and optimize our enterprise data platform, enabling advanced analytics and data-driven decision making across the organization.

You will design scalable pipelines and data lake/warehouse architectures, optimize cloud workflows (Azure/AWS), and drive adoption of Databricks and Azure Data Factory within an Agile team to deliver reliable, scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum five years in platform or software engineering.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data lake/warehouse architectures.
Optimize data workflows for performance and cost in cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
Lead adoption of modern data engineering tools and frameworks (Databricks, Azure Data Factory).
Monitor and troubleshoot data platform performance and reliability.
Collaborate with product delivery and stakeholders to translate data needs into insights.
Participate in Agile processes including Scrum and Kanban.
Prepare high-level and detailed designs for data solutions.
Apply best practices in coding, testing, and deployment, including CI/CD.
Stay updated on analytics engineering trends and propose process improvements.
