Job summary

SAMY is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions within the Google Cloud Platform. You will develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data models to enable data-driven decision making.

Bring 5+ years of experience with BigQuery, advanced SQL, and Python for API data ingestion. You will collaborate with Analytics, BI, and Engineering teams to improve data architecture and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Advanced SQL with complex transformations and optimization.
• Python scripts for data ingestion and API integration.
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with data integration tools like Fivetran or Supermetrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize SQL for data transformation and analytics.
• Design and maintain Data Warehouse models.
• Ingest data via Python scripts from APIs.
• Automate data ingestion, transformation and validation processes.
• Manage large datasets in Google BigQuery.
• Integrate multiple data sources using tools like Fivetran or Supermetrics.
• Ensure data quality and reliability across pipelines.
• Collaborate with Analytics, BI, and Engineering teams.
