Samsung Southeast Asia & Oceania is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for its cutting-edge Big Data project. You will work on ETL processes, data warehouse optimization, and analytics-driven reporting in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The role requires strong programming skills (Java/Python/Scala), deep knowledge of Spark/Hadoop/AWS Glue, and experience with SQL-based data warehouses.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Java, Python, or Scala.
• Experience with ETL pipelines and Spark/Hadoop/AWS Glue.
• Experience with SQL databases and data warehouses.
• Familiarity with Airflow and data visualization tools is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Implement, maintain and evolve cloud-based Big Data products and services.
• Design, implement, test, and maintain ETL processes for analytics.
• Analyze data warehouses and optimize SQL queries for BI reporting.
• Transform structured and unstructured data to produce meaningful reports.
• Write code, review code, and write unit tests.
• Write documentation and interface with product, QA, operations.
• Create quick proof-of-concept prototypes.
• Participate in an agile team.
