Job summary

HRTx Inc. in Pasig seeks a Senior Data Engineer for a hybrid role combining on-site and remote work. The candidate will own major data platform components, delivering timely, well-structured data to internal stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role involves mentoring junior engineers and ensuring secure, scalable pipelines, with duties spanning architecture, development, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Education requirement as above.
• 3-4 years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering and advanced SQL with performance optimization.
• Experience with orchestration tooling (Dagster/Airflow).
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS) and cloud data warehouses (Redshift/BigQuery/Snowflake).
• Strong communication and ability to lead discussions or cross-team coordination work.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & solution design for new pipelines and features.
• Lead development and maintenance of complex, secure, and timely data pipelines.
• Own core data infrastructure components for reliability and maintainability.
• Review code and pipeline changes for quality.
• Co-mentor junior data engineers and provide day-to-day guidance.
• Act as escalation point for pipeline incidents and data quality issues.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure uptime, performance, and security of data pipelines.
• Coordinate with IT infrastructure for pipeline-related changes.
• Ensure data requirements are met with cross-functional teams; meet SLA targets.
