Job summary

PM Consulting in Pasig, Philippines seeks a Senior Data Engineer (Health Services) to own major sections of the data platform and deliver accurate, timely data to internal stakeholders. The role combines hands-on pipeline work with adherence to standards set by the Data Engineering Lead.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate across IT and business teams, ensure secure, scalable pipelines, and work with unstructured/external data sources while maintaining data quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical data engineering experience.
• 3–4 years delivering end-to-end data pipelines and infrastructure features.
• Proficient in Python for ETL/ELT and advanced SQL.
• Experience with Airflow or Dagster for production pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Architecture and solution design for new pipelines and features.
• Lead the development and maintenance of complex, secure pipelines.
• Own core data infrastructure and ensure reliability and performance.
• Review code and merges to enforce data engineering standards.
• Co-mentor junior engineers with day-to-day guidance and coaching.
• Handle incident management and escalate major issues when needed.
• Collaborate with IT/security to maintain uptime and data security.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for data integration and requirements.
• Optimize pipelines to meet SLA targets and improve throughput.
