Job summary

Lewis Personnel Management in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that support BI and advanced analytics. The role collaborates with business and IT stakeholders on data pipelines, warehousing, migration, and quality initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years in data engineering, works with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, AWS services, and Python/Java, and applies ETL, data modeling and agile practices in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of data engineering experience and related roles.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related quantitative field.
• AWS Data Engineer Specialty or AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification.
• Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification.
• Strong experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, AWS Glue, AWS RDS, and AWS Fargate.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and/or Java.
• Strong knowledge of ETL, data warehousing, BI, data modeling, and advanced analytics.
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines, data marts, and data warehouse solutions.
• Analyze and transform internal and external data for BI and advanced analytics.
• Develop and maintain data platforms using AWS and Snowflake.
• Execute data migration from existing databases to the enterprise data warehouse.
• Build analytical tools and prototypes to support business requirements.
• Improve data quality, reliability, and accessibility.
• Perform data platform housekeeping and maintenance.
• Promote data engineering standards, best practices, and Agile methodologies.
