Job summary
APW Tech is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support the development of DataMarts and data pipelines for an enterprise data initiative. You will work with data warehousing, SQL, and ETL in cloud environments to deliver stable and scalable data solutions.
The role requires strong communication in English, collaboration with IT teams, and experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services. Hybrid work setup in Ortigas, Pasig City is offered.
Qualifications
- Must have Data Warehousing & ETL experience (non‑negotiable).
- Strong SQL skills and relational database experience.
- Experience building or supporting DataMarts.
- Solid understanding of data modelling and normalization.
- Experience with data pipelines and data ingestion processes.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure preferred, others acceptable).
- Hands‑on with SQL, Power BI/Tableau, Python (preferred).
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps/CI‑CD concepts.
- Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional IT teams.
- Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL experience.
- Python libraries such as Pandas or Spark.
- Experience with AWS/GCP is a plus.
- Strong English communication and Agile/Scrum or ITIL exposure.
- Hybrid work setup in Ortigas, Pasig City.
