Job summary

RCBC in the Philippines is seeking a Data Engineering Lead within the Data Science & Analytics group to manage data for analytics, visualization and modeling. You will ensure data availability, integrity and ease of access across the department.

You will stay current with emerging data management technologies, standardize and optimize data assets, and provide a single customer view across internal and external sources to support analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in Data Engineering, preferably in Data Science applications.
• Adequate exposure to Data Science, various data types and sources used in Data Science.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and executive judgment skills; ability to lead change and with passion for creating solutions; strong interpersonal skills; excellent project management and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures data availability, integrity and manageability across the group.
• Keep abreast of new technologies and developments in Data Science to continuously enhance tools and methodologies used in the Data Science & Analytics group.
• Standardize, unify and optimize internal & external data, leveraging scalable technologies to provide high quality, secure and rapid data solutions to support Data Science & Analytics initiatives.
• Manage data across the Data Science group providing a single customer view of internal and external data.
