Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join its credit team in the Philippines. You will own end-to-end credit analysis, financial underwriting, and credit memo preparation for corporate accounts and portfolios.

You will assess complex credits, deliver portfolio-level insights, mentor junior analysts, and advise Credit Officers on loan terms, with a credible, well-documented approach. Your analysis will influence credit quality and portfolio performance across a broad client base.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years in credit analysis at a financial institution.
• Ability to interpret GAAP-compliant financial statements and tax returns.
• Experience with credit structures and lending regulations.
• Clear, structured written analysis for underwriting.
• Strong communication with Credit Officers and Relationship Managers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end credit analysis for corporate accounts, including cash flow calculation and debt service coverage.
• Spread and analyze financial statements and tax returns, including Not-For-Profit entities.
• Prepare written credit memos that synthesize financial analysis and portfolio findings.
• Assess credit risk across simple to complex requests and provide preliminary analysis.
• Advise Credit Officers on loan terms and covenant interpretation; monitor lifecycle compliance.
• Complete QA reviews of application packages and credit analysis before underwriting.
• Mentor and coach junior Credit Analysts to strengthen team capabilities.
