Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management is seeking an experienced accounting professional in the Philippines to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong grasp of US GAAP and accrual accounting, with hands-on NetSuite experience and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, AR processes, asset management, payroll accruals, and supporting audits. Collaboration with Marketing, HR, and Operations is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA credentials preferred.
• Experience with US GAAP and accrual-based accounting is essential.
• Prior work in e-commerce, subscriptions, or consumer goods is a plus.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries across assigned areas with accuracy.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and item follow-up.
• Manage accounting for commissions, sponsorships, influencer programs, and ads.
• Oversee accounts receivable processes and resolve outstanding balances.
• Maintain fixed asset subledger including depreciation and rollforward.
• Record payroll entries and accruals for compensation and benefits.
• Support audit requests with schedules and inquiries.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen controls.
• Collaborate with Marketing, HR, Operations, and Finance to resolve issues.
